2013 Global Sports World Series Announcement
Starting in 2013, Global Sports World Series championship format has been modified to a double elimination format (click here for details). Global Sports World Series format includes 4 pool play games followed by multiple modified double elimination championship brackets. Winners from each championship bracket will be crowned Global Sports World Series Champion.
Beginning August 1, 2012 teams can now purchase team insurance for the 2013 season that will give the team coverage for the entire season. Coverage will last from 8/1/012 thru 7/31/13. Teams may still purchase insurance for fall only at 1/2 price.
The Elite World Series will continue with the same format in 2013. 32 teams in each age group 9-14 and a 5 game guarantee. There will also be new Super NIT's around the country.Tthe Elite World Series will be split over two seperate weeks. "more info"
New for 2013, two teams from the 12U division will qualify to represent USSSA at the National Youth Championship in Memphis.
The T-Rex Club is designed for 4-8 year olds, parents and coaches. The T-Rex Club will offer educational articles to help parents get their sons and daughters started in T-ball along with content that is entertaining for the young players.
